5 rugged Green Mountaineers slogged up Molly Stark (2,851) on a sort of overcast soggy day via the Beane Trail from Hanksville near Huntington. As trip leaders people sometimes repeat familiar trips because there is slightly less chance of getting lost or forgetting where the parking is. But repeating a familiar outing can be a unique experience as conditions can change so much that no two outings are quite the same. This was the case here where the views were not quite what they could be, and the trail conditions not great. So, I look forward to doing this one again when the experience will be altogether spectacular 😉

With Phil, John, Greg, Ellen, and Ted as expedition commander.
