We had an excellent partly cloudy to sunny morning for our Mansfield hike this weekend. I led a larger group of 12 enthusiastic folks on a very snowy trek up Sunset Ridge and down Laura Cowles, taking us about 5 hours. We started at the parking area at around 9 am. The trail was pretty broken in and there was a mix of snowshoeing and microspikes. The group and I had great conversations on the hike, we had fantastic views at the summit, albeit very windy. We slid most of the way down Laura Cowles which was lots of fun. Overall a fantastic day!
