Thanks to all who attended the GMC Burlington Section annual meeting on Saturday in South Burlington. We recognized outgoing treasurer extraordinaire Joel Tilley, on the books for us since 2004. GMC Executive Director Mike Debonis provided an update from the Club with a focus on a new strategic plan that has implications for our Burlington Section. The lasagna was excellent and many brought great potluck dishes. We welcomed our newest committee member Kayla Weeks, and showed off our new chain saw carrying packs – essential equipment. We wrapped up with a pessimistic view of the future of our environment from James Blair of Middlebury, a former National Geographic photographer. Thanks to Brian and Jeanette Williams for the great organizing, and Cathy Tilley for bringing in a Keurig machine.
The executive Committee gets ready to dazzle the membership with their reports.
