It was a bit chilly and the skies were gray, but the wildflowers were out in force at Niquette Bay State Park. We started out on the Ledges Trail, where there were wildflowers galore on both sides of the trail. From the Ledges Trail, we did a loop around the park and saw more wildflowers along the way. The hike went well, and we were lucky to identify 26 different wildflowers! Five of the six participants had never been to the state park before, so they enjoyed hiking in a new location. Participants: Juliet, Amy, Amy, Ariane, Lynn, George, May, and Sheri Larsen (leader).
