Franconia Ridge Loop (NH)

We will start from the Old Bridle Path Trailhead to hike up Falling Waters to Little Haystack, then across the Appalachian Trail ridge to Lincoln (5089 ft) and Lafayette (5260 ft) peaks before descending Old Bridle Path. This is one of the most scenic hikes in New England which means it will be busy. An early start will ensure a better experience, so we will plan for a 6:15 start in NH (4:00 AM meet at Richmond Park and Ride). Difficult hike. Moderate pace. 8.9 miles. 4100 ft elevation gain.
