Giant Mountain and Rocky Peak Ridge (ADKs)

This is a difficult loop starting from the Roaring Brook parking lot off of NY State Highway 73. We will follow the Roaring Brook Trail to the summit of Giant Mountain and follow the East Trail to Rocky Peak Ridge. Ridge Trail followed by Nubble Trail will be taken on the descent back to the Roaring Brook Trail. Headlamps and/or flashlights are required.
Difficult hike, Moderate to strong pace. 9 miles. 5000′ elevation gain.
