The Bonds (NH)
September 30 All day
We will start from Lincoln Woods Visitors Center (parking fee to be paid on site) where we will hike to Bondcliff (4265′), Bond (4698′) and West Bond (4540′) as an out and back. This is a very long hike (expect 12 hours or more) to some of the most remote high peaks in the White Mountains, but with the reward of excellent views of the Pemi Wilderness. A very early start will be required – 3:00 AM meet at Richmond Park and Ride (That is not a typo!).
Very difficult hike, Moderate to strong pace. 22.5 miles. 4600′ elevation gain.
