Mt. Colden & Tabletop Mountain

Nothing like starting off the summer than with an ADK hike! Avalanche Pass to Mount Colden down Lake Arnold to Tabletop Mountain back down past Marcy Dam. Early meet up time of 6 am.Difficult hike, Strong pace. 16 miles. 3600' elevation gain.Group limit 8.Contact leader by 6/8.

Mt. Abraham

We’ll hike the Long Trail north from Lincoln Gap to the summit of Mount Abraham. There are some rocky scrambles near the summit.Moderate to difficult hike, Moderate pace. 5.2 miles. 1600' elevation gain.

Worcester Ridge

We’ll climb the Middlesex Trail to the summit of Mt. Hunger, then follow the Skyline Trail to Mt. Worcester, returning on the Worcester Mt. Trail.Difficult hike, Moderate pace. 11 miles. 3000' elevation gain.Group limit 10.Contact leader by 6/22.

Butler Lodge via Nebraska Notch

Starting from Stevensville, we will hike the Nebraska Notch Trail to the Long Trail, then follow it to Butler Lodge and return along the Butler Lodge trail.Moderate hike, Moderate pace. 6.2 miles. 1700' elevation gain.Group limit 10.Contact leader by 6/29.

Lincoln Gap to Cooley Glen Trailhead

We will spot a car at the Cooley Glen Trailhead, then drive to Lincoln Gap and hike south on the Long Trail to the Cooley Glen Trail and out. Most of the climbing comes early in the hike when a sense of humor will be most necessary.Moderate hike. 8 miles.Group limit 8.

Mansfield via Laura Cowles & Sunset Ridge

From Mountain Road trailhead, we will hike up Laura Cowles trail to ridge and take LT to Chin. Return via Sunset Ridge Trail. Spectacular view above tree line in all directions.Difficult hike, Moderate pace. 5.2 miles. 2500' elevation gain.Group limit 10.Contact leader by 7/3.

Devils Gulch and Spruce Camp

We will hike the Long Trail south from Vt 118 to Devils Gulch and on to Spruce Ledge Camp. On the return trip we'll take the Babcock Trail past Muddy Pond.Moderate hike, Moderate pace. 6.5 miles. 500' elevation gain.Group limit 12.

Mt Ellen via Jerusalem Trail

We'll take the Jerusalem Trail to the Long Trail, then follow it south to Mt. Ellen and return.Moderate to difficult hike, Moderate pace. 8.4 miles. 2650' elevation gain.Group limit 10.

Skylight Pond to Middlebury Gap

We will spot a car at the top of Middlebury Gap, then drive to the Skylight Pond Trailhead, hike up to the Long Trail, then follow it south to Middlebury Gap. Highlights include: Skylight Pond, Boyce Shelter and trees.Moderate hike. 7.7 miles.Group limit 8.
