The Green Mountain Club recently celebrated its 110th birthday and strives to be a positive member of our community. As the spread and impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues in our region we have decided to cancel all outings, events and in-person meetings during March and April.
The Burlington Section calendar has been updated to reflect the cancellations. Additional precautions are being taken to protect our staff’s health, including the closing of the visitor’s center in Waterbury Center for the time being. While this will be an adjustment for a group that values getting together to explore Vermont and sharing our passion for the outdoors with others, we feel this is best for the health of our members and our community. When conditions are appropriate, we will get back on the trail together.
