Over the years I have had gone through various GMC archives given to me by Shelburne neighbor Rick Rice (whose dad Roderick was a Burlington Section member starting in the 1930s and became one of the original caretakers of Butler, Taylor and Bolton lodges.) Also archives from Dot Myer, Marion Holmes & others. Every now and then a gem shows up.
Imagine this 100 year old LT guide falling out of a random folder that Dot Myer had squirreled away in her house for 50 years.

The 1st LT guide was published in 1917 and a copy of this was also passed to me a couple of years ago, which was turned over to the main club. The 1917 Guide and all others are in a display case to your right as you enter the GMC visitor center. (The the Burlington section paid for the display.)
Database entries describing this and other documents will be entered into the GMC archives database by keyword & description. Then the the actual documents themselves are put in archival boxes and we take them to the visitor center basement. Its a bit of a jumble down there. Go for a visit when at the visitor center for the GMC annual meeting Saturday June 11th. Food! Outings! etc!
