This tenting area replaced North Bourn Pond Shelter

It is located on a spur trail about 300 ft to the east and has a beautiful pond setting. There are good views of Stratton Mountain. It is located where the North Bourn Pond Shelter was dismantled in 1983. [GB 24th Edition 1996] First listed as tenting area in GB 23rd Edition 1985.
