5/19 (Sat) Spring Trail Work
Special project:
Some or all of us will be helping with a Long Trail reroute being done on this day on the north/east side of Smugglers Notch. Work will include blazing, sign mounting, brushing the old trail (blocking it with brush to keep people off it), and cutting the last pieces of the new trail. We would be joining with folks from the Montpelier section, probably joining them at the Barnes Camp after we meet at the Richmond park & ride. Main GMC staff will be there to help direct small groups to various assignments.
