Bromley Camp

Bromley Camp was a frame shelter built by the Green Mountain Club in 1955 and stood on the Long Trail until its removal in 1984. The structure followed the Buchanan Camp architectural design and provided bunks for eight hikers. The shelter served the Long Trail corridor for three decades before being decommissioned. Following its removal, the site was redeveloped with two tent platforms, a communal fireplace, and an outhouse to continue accommodating Long Trail users. Spruce Peak Shelter later replaced Bromley Camp in serving this section of the trail.
