Ellen Cabin

Ellen Cabin was a log shelter built in 1903 below the summit of Ellen mountain on Vermont’s Long Trail.

The cabin remained active until approximately 1926. By the time Walter O’Kane documented the Long Trail in his 1926 guide, the cabin had fallen into ruin. The last mention of the cabin was in 1929.
