Located on the old Johnson-Whiteface Trail about 4.5 miles south of the Falls.
It was always open and showed evidence of hiker and hunter use. In recent years its location was on a side trail about .4 mile from the LT. There was always a good store of wood; one room had a kitchen dining area with a stove, the other was the sleeping area with bunks for 16 persons, mattresses in poor condition. Fine drinking water was located below the outhouse. It was built in 1976. Its condition declined after years of abuse and was burned in the winter of 1998.
