In January over 80 members met for our annual meeting. Members were eager to leave a chilly wind outside and mingle with fellows hikers to dream about the 2025 hiking season. The food was fabulous and not a single dessert was left to go home with the tupperware. (The peanut butter pie was gone before the dinner was served…)

Everyone graciously tolerated the reports on activities of the section over the past year and all motions passed unanimously. See meeting documents through the link above.

Brian Linder was worth the wait and his presentation “You ain’t gonna believe this” was met with laughter and gasps of disbelief. He offered great perspective on what adventurers new to this area, or hiking, find when they venture into our beloved Green Mountains.
