We were blessed with the most perfect winter day for this hike, and it wasn’t even officially winter yet! A bluebird sky and temps in the teens (but no wind), we enjoyed the packed snow trail up to Butler Lodge, then we took a quick little foray to the ledge just above the lodge for photos and a final glimpse of the setting sun. Welcome winter!
