This was another well-attended trip, with twelve hikers and four dogs coming together at the Battell trail head. The day was clear, and the trail was dry to start. As we started running to patches of ice, a few microspikes were strapped on.
After regrouping at the shelter and a bit of a snack, we all strapped on the spikes. The trail was very ice as we made our way to the summit. We enjoyed a long lunch before an uneventful descent to the trailhead.
