The trip was not advertised for “women only” but that is how it turned out. We had a great group of women, including one from Connecticut and one from New Jersey.
We started at Lincoln Gap and took the Long Trail to the top and returned the same way. You couldn’t have asked for a nicer fall day – warm temperatures for the time of year, mixed sun and clouds and minimal wind at the top.
We took time at the top to eat our lunch, enjoy the views, watch several gliders fly over and take photos. We passed lots of people going up as we headed down to the cars.
Participants – Jenny Lynch, Sally Marcotte, Valerie Parauka, Carmen Trombly, Peggy Bartlett, Mary Keenan, Carol Hignite, Carol Langley, Jane Rohlf, Sheri Larsen.
